Building Resistance in a Republican Dominated Landscape
The Ineffectiveness of the Trumpist Right and the Strategic Necessity of a Leftward Shift
In the years ahead, the potential for building effective resistance movements against the entrenched systems of capitalism, imperialism, statism, and Zionism will be severely constrained by the dominance of the Republican Party over every branch of the federal government. This scenario not only reflects the ideological alignment of the center-right with these systems but also highlights how the far-right’s tendencies can be easily manipulated to neutralize meaningful opposition. The structural and ideological limitations of the right, both centrist and extreme, suggest that movements seeking transformative change must strategically orient themselves toward the far left to mount a coherent resistance.
